Modern Warfare 3 Review
11/11 - This is our Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 review.
The campaign is World War 3 but the storyline very much follows on from MW 1 and 2 with the usual characters, Soap, MacTavish, Nickolai all returning. The first mission is set in New York City and you are immediately thrown into the action taking on the Russian invaders. The graphics for the campaign are very similar to MW2 so it will all seem very familiar. Especially when you take on the task of eliminating terrorists on the London Underground.
These days though it is all about online play especially when literally millions of hours was played online on Black Ops. The maps feel very unique and are all very exciting to play. The challenges part is now even bigger with MW3, allowing you to level up faster. Call of Duty are also doing special daily and weekly challenges so it feels different every time you log in. Activision have improved every part of the online experience from challenges to kill streaks and from maps to characters. And they have put in changes to stop online being dominated by the 'hard core' gamers, which will be welcomed by the majority of people.
Along with Special Ops, which gives players a chance to team up to take on individual missions and take on Modern Warfare's take on 'Nazi Zombies', it can be safely said that Modern Warfare 3 is a game that will certainly not disappoint ensuring gamers will be playing the game just as much right up to the next Call of Duty in late 2012.
